Discover Antoni with a guide

In August 2023 it will be 300 years since Antoni van Leeuwenhoek passed away at the age of 90 after a life full of wonder, observations and discoveries. He was the first to discover the invisible world of micro-organisms with his self-made microscopes.
With this tour you step into the world of microbiology and together with a guide you go along the timeline of microbiology in the city of Delft, starting with 'amateur scientist' Antoni van Leeuwenhoek.

The walk takes about 1.5 hours and is about 5 km
Guide: Jan van der Mast, Mariëlle van Mourik Broekman and Filine Cordesius (subject to availability)
Start: at the Oostpoort in the city center (meeting point)
End: Nieuwelaan 1
Practical shoes are desirable
